my background includes a bachelor's degree in communication arts/graphic design, but i also studied photography. after college I spent some time ‘floating’ as I like to call it, testing out the waters, deciding what I liked and what I didn’t. i have held positions in advertising, newspaper, printing and sign shops all while learning a great deal and growing my skill set.

upon moving back to our hometown almost 6 years ago and not finding many jobs in my career field, i decided to start my own path. i started slow while still working at a 'regular' job and growing my client base. each job I took built off each other and word of mouth following led me to be able to quit that 'regular' job and give my business a go. sometimes you just have to close your eyes and take the leap and don't look back.

i am happy to say that I don’t regret that decision and my business is growing every day. I am mainly focused on graphic design & wedding photography at the moment.

on a personal note, as you can see i have two beautiful and very busy little boys that i have the pleasure of being mommy to. they keep me quite busy and entertained and remind me not to take life too seriously. i love that i am able to stay home part time, while also working at a job that is rewarding.
