who am i
my name is melanie araas and i operate melanie araas design and photography. my background includes a bachelor of science in communication arts/graphic design as well as eight years of graphic design experience. i have worked various jobs in the design world before starting my own business doing just that. with a small child at home, it is just perfect for me. i love what i do and love creating products for people that they can be proud of and will promote their business or venture.
i work from a home office to keep my costs low and do not charge what the larger firms charge for design time as i don't quite have the same overhead costs. i coordinate printing for all my products to provide the most cost effective options for you.
another unique aspect of my business is that i am a photographer too! this works well for graphic design as many clients need photos for their graphic design materials. i do not have a studio, but do all my work photographing people in the great outdoors which provides for some unique business photos if you would be interested in that.
